Description
The ideal candidate is an MD or MD/PhD who has formal advanced training in the medical and surgical management of vitreoretinal diseases. In addition to outstanding clinical and surgical proficiency, either a research program with extramural funding related or a strong interest in education program building is desired. The faculty member will have an opportunity to build an outstanding program in retinal research, working in a highly interactive and exciting collaborative environment with distinguished researchers throughout Johns Hopkins University. Similarly, the faculty member will be able to build education/teaching/mentoring programs that will not only benefit Wilmer and Johns Hopkins but also programs around the world.
